VOLUNTEER GIFT WRAPPERS NEEDED

    The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to help with its
annual Gift Wrapping at Pearlridge Center Nov. 26 through Dec. 24. Three
shifts are available each day. Call the Society at 486-8420 for more
information.


SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SOCCER ATHLETES

    Members of Mililani Soccer Club are eligible for three $300 scholarships.  Applicants must have a g.p.a. of 2.8 or better, & must have been a club member for 2 or more yrs.
    Applications must be submitted to Don Fukuchi at MHS, Rom 0202 by March 10.

PUBLIC INVITED TO COMMUNITY CRIME PREVENTION FORUM

    Rep. Ron Menor and Rep. Marilyn Lee in cooperation with the Mililani Community Police and the Mililani Town Association, will sponsor a Crime Prevention Forum on December 10, 1999 from 7:30-8:30 PM at Mililani Recreation Center 3.
    Speakers from the HPD will address prevention of household crime and traffic safety measures.
    Members of the Mililani community and the Public are invited to attend. For further information, call Rep. Lee at 623-6707.

Kiehm is Castle & Cooke Homes' new project manager...Stephen Jacobs scored a hole-in-one on Nov 11 on the 180-yd 2nd hole of Barbers Point using a 3-wood...Leila Hammonds was awarded $500 achievement award by Links, Inc..Mark-Allen H. DeCastro is Castle & Cooke Homes' Realtor of the Month...Diane Redline, a realtor of prudential Locations in Mililani will head the American Cancer Society's Mililani Relay in May2000... Hanalani Schools received a $60,000 grant from the Hawaii Community Foundation to implement its technology plan...Eugene Hamamoto joined Grant Thornton LLP as a senior consultant in the Enterpreneur Consulting Services dept....Walter Kushimi scored a hole-in-one on Oct 31 on the 205 yd 4th hole of Pali using a 7_wood....Bryon Lee scored a hole-in-one on Oct 26 on the 101 yd 5th hole of West Loch using a 9-iron....MTA lifeguard Kim McClintock was commended by the MTA Board of Directors for his action in preventing a serious accident to a resident who was using the spa at Rec Center 6...Dannela Pagay won the 1999-2000 Tiny Miss Beauty of the Islands...Donald Chambers, manger of the Mililani Public Library, retired after 12 yrs of service...Mililani YMCA honored volunteers Lana Hatada-Kita & Tyler Takeshita; also honored were Wally Miyahara, Dennis Kuwabara, & Maile Kanemaru.....Arlene Kuniyoshi, Wayne Abrigo, Mike Kubo, Dr. Myo Nwe, Cary Ono, & Derrick Taves are playing in the seniors division of the United States Tennis Associations' National Playoffs...The MHS boys track team won 1st place in the OIA Cross Country Championships at Nanakuli High...Mililani Pee Wee cheerleaders squad took first place at the Oahu Pop Warner Cheer Competition at the UH Stan Sheriff Arena, & will represent Hawaii in the national Pop Warner cheerleading championships at Disney World on Dec 9 - Squad members include Mandy Valmoja, Lauryn Nakasone, Chelsie Agdinaoay, Alexa Seibel, Saxon Watson, Ekishia Jackson, Jamie Greseth, Azalyn Koge, Jamie Jiminez, Nalani Garo, Rebecca Kamei, Shereen Enos, Nara Sitachita, Charlyn Antoque, Brittany Schultz, Holly Sink, Jennifer Enomoto-Hahn, Jessica Regan, & Kayla Schroader. The team is coached by Ana Jamile.
