MEETING TO DISCUSS SENIOR CITIZEN ISSUES
NOVEMBER 2001 - A meeting to discuss issues important to
senior citizens will be held on Tuesday, November 13 at
Rec Center 1 from 7-9pm.
Issues to be discussed are: hight
cost of prescription drugs, long term care, and other
senior concerns.
The meeting is sponsored by
Senator Ron Menor and Representative Marilyn B. Lee.

CHEVRON WITHDRAWS LIQUOR
APPLICATION
MILILANI -
Chevron withdrew its application for a beer & wine
liquor license at a proposed Mauka gas station/convenience
store.
The project was opposed by the
Mililani Mauka/Launani Valley Neighborhood Board.
Chevron did not indicate if it
will proceed with the rest of the project.
