School Partnership Up-Coming
Events
- Mililani
High School - Four soldiers
are being sent twice a week (Mondays and Fridays) to tutor and assist with certain projects i.e. woodshop,
auto shop. This will continue until 08 Jun 02, which is the last day of school.

Mauka Elementary School - Help
construct sidewalk to the playground.
- Mililani
Middle School - Help
judge a science fair for on 9 April.
Also fine-tune plan to improve the sidewalks at the school. This will probably take place this summer (June), after the change of command.
Might also supply personnel to help install a LAN
throughout their school.

Elementary School -
Provide soldiers as both guests (C6, C5, C7, C1) and as participants (marching, and setting up
demonstrations) for Kipapa Fest. Begin classroom sponsorship
program in June. Basically, 2-3 soldiers will sponsor a classroom
(make routine visits to and assist in physical fitness events, such as an obstacle course or playing sporting
events).

Elementary School - The Battalion conducted read across
America on 4Mar02 and School Beautification on 16Mar02.
The next day for reading to the kids is on 29Apr02.

Pass Procedures - One Day
Passes
- One-day passes will be
issued at Buckner gate, Kawamura Gate, and McNair Gate.
- Persons wishing access for
one day will be required to enter through the above gates.
- MP dedicated to each gate
will capture ID, insurance and vehicle registration at a
minimum and issue a "one day pass" to be placed
on the windshield, with date of issue clearly visible.
